Generic Name: Cefipime

Indication:

• Complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.
• Complicated intra-abdominal infections (with metronidazole)
• Empiric treatment for neutropenic fever.
• Cefepime is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria, and for empiric therapy for febrile neutropenic patients.
